Required to apply
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) and model-view-controller (MVC) design patterns
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g. jQuery, Knockout, node.js, Socket.IO)
- Comfortable with various database architectures (e.g. MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL)
- Familiar with version control system, specifically Git
- Semantic use of HTML5
- Proficient in *nix
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Transportation to/from the office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-oriented work environment
Experience in the following is not required, but beneficial
- PHP (Symfony, WordPress, Magento)
- Ruby on Rails
- Objective-C / iOS development
- CoffeeScript, Haml, Sass, Less, Jade
- Server maintenance capabilities
